Community Rules
Horizon Nights is a public, persistent web layer for the Forza community. It mirrors the official safety standards Forza uses for UGC, with a few extra clauses for hosts and creators. Last updated May 2026.
The bar is E-for-Everyone.
Horizon Nights mirrors the official Forza E-for-Everyone standard. That means no graphic violence, no sexual content, no glorification of self-harm. If it would not run on the official Forza forums or Discord, it does not run here.
Photos, liveries, blueprints, tunes, garage layouts, license plates, and chat are all in scope. Hosts are responsible for the atmosphere of their own room.
License plates and liveries.
No real-world license plates that resolve to a real address. No slurs, hate symbols, or terror group references on liveries. No copyrighted brand marks lifted from outside the game (sponsor logos inside the game are fine).
We do allow stylized references — a livery saying “TOKYO” is fine; a livery weaponizing a real person's name is not.
Hosts and conduct.
Hosts can set extra house rules per room (class cap, drivetrain, chase cam off, etc.). Hosts cannot ban based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or veteran status.
Repeated harassment, doxxing, threats, or impersonation get an immediate suspension. Reports are anonymous to the reportee; the moderation queue lives separately from the room itself.
Spam, scams, share-code farms.
Manually share what you actually made. No re-uploading other painters' codes under your handle. No bot-driven follow farms. No giveaways tied to off-platform actions.
Cheating and exploits.
Tunes, EventLab routes, and liveries that obviously rely on unsupported game-file modification are not welcome. We can't police what happens in your offline lobby, but we will police what gets shared on Horizon Nights.
Reporting.
Use the Report button on any room, photo, code, or message. A human reviews every report within 24 hours. False reports affect your own standing — don't use it as a downvote.
Data and privacy.
We store your handle, display name, avatar, posted content, RSVPs, and the rooms you host. We do not store voice — Discord owns voice. You can delete your account at any time; we delete the account row and cascade through your content.
Reports are retained for a rolling 12 months for moderation continuity, then anonymized.
